네팔 정부는 모든 산을 포함한 에베레스트 등반 허가를 2017년까지 확대하기로 결정했습니다. 2015년에는 357명의 등반가들에게 에베레스트 등반허가가 발급됐습니다. 그러나 2015년 4월 25일과 5월 5일에 발생한 지진으로 인해 모든 산에 대한 탐험이 중지됐습니다. 네팔 정부는 눈사태로 인해 취소됐었던 2014년도의 등반 허가를 5년간 연장하기로 이미 결정한 바 있습니다.

We would like to inform you that Government of Nepal decided to extend the climbing permits of Everest including all the mountains till 2017. The climbing permit for Everest was issued for 357 climbers in 2015. The expeditions on all the mountains were cancelled due to the earthquakes of 25 April and 5 May. The government has already decided to extend the climbing permits of 2014 for five years, which were cancelled due to avalanche.
